Every wave of progress brings us closer to a futur Every wave of progress brings us closer to a future where our communities are heard, protected, and able to thrive. However, election results are a starting point for continued advocacy, not the finish line.

Now is the time to keep that momentum going. We must continue organizing, advocating, showing up for one another, and holding elected officials and decision-makers accountable to the communities they serve.

The wave has started, but the work is far from over. 🏳️‍⚧️ ⚧️ 🏳️‍🌈
Yesterday, we joined Drag Me to the Polls for a co Yesterday, we joined Drag Me to the Polls for a community celebration of civic engagement, collective power, and the importance of voting for our futures! 🏳️‍⚧️ 🏳️‍🌈

After hearing from local leaders and an energizing drag show, we left empowered to take that energy straight to the ballot box! If you vote early, you can track your vote-by-mail ballot—when it is mailed, received, and counted at WheresMyBallot.sos.ca.gov. 🗳️

If you’re reviewing your ballot and unsure where to start, CalMatters has a great breakdown of the ballot measures this election cycle. We strongly encourage you to research the issues, ask questions, and make informed decisions whenever you are voting.

ELECTION DAY IS NEXT TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3! Make a plan, vote early if you can, and bring your people to the polls. DRAG THEM IF YOU HAVE TO! 💄🔥The future of our health depends on your vote!

Huge shoutout to the organizations who put this event together for community, including Asian Americans Advancing Justice Southern California (AJSOCAL), Center for Asian Americans United for Self-Empowerment (CAUSE), Search to Involve Pilipino Americans (SIPA), TransLatin@ Coalition, and the Los Angeles Blade.
