Help write the next chapter for the California LGBTQ Health and Human Services Network
Dear Network members,
I write my message this week with mixed emotions. I’ve had the pleasure of leading the California LGBTQ Health and Human Services Network for over five years now. In that time, we have launched the #Out4MentalHealth and We Breathe programs, welcomed some amazing staff members, hosted two Statewide Convenings, and have had the opportunity to work side-by-side with so many of you to advance LGBTQ health.
Now, it is time to pass the torch to the next leader of the Network.
This week, we are launching our search for the next Network Director. This person will have a chance to work with an established team, a wonderfully supportive Steering Committee, and with two long-running campaigns. The new Director will also have a chance to set the agenda for the coming years and take the Network to new and exciting places.
If you know someone who would be the perfect fit as our next Director (or maybe that person is you), please share our announcement and job description which can be viewed here.
The good news is I’m not moving too far! I have accepted the role of Deputy Director with Health Access Foundation – the organization that has been home to the Network for nearly ten years. I am looking forward to continuing to work with all of you as we pursue quality and equitable health care for all Californians. You can still reach me at the same email address and phone number, and I will be around to support the Network during the transition.
Thank you for your support over the years and making this an absolute dream job!
